All dentists are interested in achieving beautiful esthetic outcomes in restorative dentistry. We must realize, as we treat more and more complex cases, a thorough understanding of functional occlusal principles and how to apply them, is critical to create predictable outcomes which are stable, comfortable, and healthy. This presentation will address the primary considerations every dentist must understand regarding stable joints, muscles, parafunction, and occlusion.

Dentistry and whole health go together. The oral/systemic connection, sleep apnea, nutrition, physical activity, and stress all affect the whole body. We will discuss the critical role of Dentistry in the future of the health of both our patients and nation. This very dynamic topic will also provide a new business model that can elevate your dental practice to a whole new level.

THE SPEAKER
Dr. DeWitt Wilkerson was a 1982 graduate of the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry, the year he joined the Dawson group practice in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Dr. Wilkerson is a senior lecturer at the Dawson Academy. He is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists, Past President of the American Equilibration Society(AES), an active member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, serves on the Board of Directors of the American
Academy for Oral Systemic Health(AAOSH), and numerous other professional organizations.
He serves as an adjunct professor in the Graduate Program, University of Florida College of Dentistry.
Dr. Wilkerson lectures extensively nationally and internationally on the subjects of Restorative Dentistry, Occlusion, Masticatory System Disorders, Dental Sleep Medicine, and Dental Medicine.
