About the Speaker – Dr. Rick Mars

Dr. Rick Mars has practiced patient-centered dentistry in the Miami area for more than three decades. He received his undergraduate education at Emory University and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Georgetown University School of Dentistry.   Dr. Mars is the managing partner of three dental practices in the South Florida area.  Dr. Mars is a member of the Align Technology, Inc. North America Faculty, has lectured domestically and internationally about Invisalign treatment since 2007.

Dr. Mars was voted one of America’s Top Dentist in 2022 for Invisalign, Cosmetic, and Implant Dentistry by Consumers’ Research Council of America and a Leading Dentist of the World in 2022 by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals. He is author of THE BIG SMILE:  THE PRINCIPLES OF MODERN DENTISTRY FOR DENTISTS AND PATIENTS, and many dental articles published in both Dentistry Today, The Hill, Aventura Magazine and community newspapers. He has been featured on local television and national radio programs.  In addition, he holds memberships in a variety of state and national dental academies and associations. 

Dr. Mars has been and Invisalign provider since 2003, and became an Elite Preferred Provider in 2013. He was the first general dentist to achieve this status in the Miami area.  Since 2020, he has held the Advantage status of DIAMOND PROVIDER.   Dr. Mars has treated more than  2,500 lifetime cases.

Dr. Mars has been a member of Align’s Faculty since 2014, an original member of Align’s Global Faculty and was named Align’s GP Faculty Member of the Year in 2018.   He is comfortable lecturing on a broad range of subjects from the clinical aspects of Invisalign, to Invisalign Go, to Clincheck 6.0 with 3D controls and Live Update, to case acceptance, to iTero, to Workflow, to Virtual Treatment, Align’s technology platform, to team motivation, to the “business” of Invisalign.  His passion and humor are brought to every lecture and the message is heard in a clear, honest and entertaining manner.

This study club will communicate how digital comprehensive dentistry can have a powerful impact on your patient’s experience and education, plus learn successful ways to educate and motivate an efficient team that supports the Invisalign treatment process. Finally, uncover methods to develop a strong Invisalign treatment workflow utilizing the tools within the iTero 5D technology and ClinCheck 6.0 software to optimize your clinical outcomes.
